Publications
The quota for communication titles has been reached. No
more communication titles will be accepted after 31 January 2006.
Titles for poster contributions are still welcome.
Publication will be both in book form, by Ashgate, available at the
Congress as part of the Registration, and on this website in advance
of the Congress. Full texts of Plenary Papers and Abstracts of Panel
Contributions and of Communications will be published on paper.
If desired, full texts of Panel Contributions and Communications
may also be published on the website.
A modest amount of illustrative material can be accommodated
for paper publication of Plenary Papers and for website publication
of full texts of Panel Contributions and Communications.
In all cases texts should be sent both electronically
(on disk or by e-mail attachment) and in hard (paper) copy,
marked BYZCONG2006, to the Deputy Convenor:

Plenary Papers should not exceed 10,000 words and should
be sent by 15 September 2005.
Abstracts of Panel Contributions should not exceed 500 words and should be sent by
15 September 2005. Full texts of Panel Contributions
(no more than 5,000 words) may
be sent for the website by 15 April 2006.
Abstracts of Communications should not exceed 500 words and should be sent
by 15 April 2006, when full texts of Communications
(no more than 3,000 words)
may also be sent for website publication.
